( Thanks, both of you. I'm going to start, but the real action shouldn't start until everyone has at least came back and posted something. -So we know they know we started-) Parking her parent's carefully, Ivy gazed up at the mansion. It was a ghastly shade of royal purple and midnight black, vines and moss traveled along the walls, and it gave off an eerie chill. The design reminded Ivy of a castle from the middle ages, and it towered over her like a sky scraper. She could just imagine the parties that were thrown in it, especially on Halloween. Ivy wondered how she had never noticed it before. Stepping from the car, she grew more hesitant with each step that brought her closer. She moved slowly but smoothly, debating whether to enter. As she reached the entrance, the music from inside was deafening. The lights were dim but radiating with a super natural power. It revealed a massive room, heated from the bodies moving to the music. Ivy relaxed after seeing all the highschool students. Ivy entered the crowd in attempt to find someone she knew, but was confused after a few minutes. She couldn't find a single person she could recognize, even though they all looked like high schoolers. She only knew of three or five high schools around here, of which she had friends at all five. Sitting down near the wall, her eyes scanned the unusual crowd curiously. She had found the invitation in her locker, so she had expected people from her school. Ivy had came without informing any of her friends because the invitation said specifically, invite only. She hadn't wanted any of them to feel bad. Where is everyone? She thought to herself.

“Well here we are, then.” Kynton stated, in a deeply raspy voice as he glanced over at his little sister, seated in the passenger seat. He was still slightly confused, as to how both of them could have possibly been invited to the same party. It was not that he did not like his little sister, not at all, it was simply the fact that they were not exactly in with the same crowd. Will, himself, was rather out going and well known as the schools rebel, whereas his sister made a much, lesser known persona to others; she was typically quite and reserved, finding it easier to relate to fictional mythological creatures then anything else. None of it made sense really, but nevertheless, they had both received an invitation thus were both going. “Are you ready?”
Kira nodded slightly, in response to her brother’s question, but could not manage to tear her chestnut eyes away from the pure beauty of the old Gothic style mansion. She could not have imagined a better setting for her first official party. It was as if the house was stolen right out of the pages of her novels and dropped in the middle of nowhere, just for her. Maybe this won’t be as bad as I imagined. She thought, hoping that she was correct. “Kieran!” Kira whipped her head around, as her true name had been declared. A name she could not hate more. “What?” The little red head asked softly, not having heard a thing Kynton had attempted to say to her.
“I asked, if you were okay.” He restated, in a much softer tone then his previous expressions.
“Oh. Um yes, I’m alright. Why?”
“You just looked a little dazed, is all.”
“I’m fine.” She re-announced, not even aware that she had dazed off. She actually was not surprised as it was a reoccurring thing, more so recently.
“Well let’s go. It sounds like the party already started.” Leaves crunched beneath Kynton’s boots, as he stepped out of his black Desoto. Stretching his arms upwards, he took in a deep breath of the moist, autumn air; a sweet scent, playing on the slight breeze, which brought back many memories. As he began his strides towards the sinister building, he smirked as Kira rushed to his side at a quickened pace, to match his wide steps.
Kira felt the tension increase through out her body with each step she took. She had noticed that Kynton had slowed his pace for her and smiled up at him, as the came to the entrance steps. He gave her a quick wink, before bounding up the steps and opening the door.
“This should be fun.” He stated absently, following his sister into the dark party.

Ivy had began to panick slightly, since she was easily affected by paranoia. She started to play with her hair, tightly wrapping and curling it around her fingers. A bad habbit she had when she felt nervous or worried. Scanning the crowd one last time, Ivy practically squealed with glee. Beside the crowd, looking almost as alone as herself, was a girl she actually recognized. Ivy didn't know her very well, but she did know they were the same age and the girl attended her best friend's school. Bouncing over and almost knocking over five people in the process, Ivy went to greet the girl.
"Hi, do you remember me? I'm Ivy; Ravie introduced us that night at the foot ball game she dragged me to?" Ivy asked hopefully.

Isabelle stared up at the large mansion through deep emerald eyes. Her face twisted into a look of distatse and she shook of the single shiver that creeped it's way up her spine. She brushed a lock of long golden hair back from her face, still staring at the mansion; entranced byt it's...ugliness. Unbeknown to her she had stopped walking, causing her older brother Marek to stare at her, a single eyebrow raised on his chisled face.
"Belle? Hellooooooo, reality calling."
Isabelle tore her green eyes off of the manor and to her brother, staring at him stupidly,
"Wha'? Oh..right. Yeah. Let's go then."
Marek smirked at his younger sister. She always was a daydreamer. He placed his large, muscular arm around his sister's slender frame and began to lead her up to the mansion, which he though was too ugly to still be standing, door. He wasn't surprised that his sister had been invited to the same party as him, although she wasn't popular or preppy he found himself forever trying to fight off his friends from trying to date her. A frown was now etched upon his face from this thought alone, though it soon disappeared when Isabelle poked his side and imitated their very old and very scary Aunt,
"Tun that frown upside down!"
He grinned, shaking his head, pushing the door open and guiding his sister and himself inside.

Kira blinked hard a few time as the girl walked up and began talking to her. She was a little thrown, to say the least, as it was not something she was used to happening. Things changed however, once she heard Ravie’s name; her memory jogged vaguely and she was able to place her. She remembered that game; Kira’s best friend, Lila, had forced her to go under the threat that she would burn her journal if she didn’t. So she went, if reluctantly.
Not wanting to seem rude, Kira brought forth a shy smile and nodded. “Oh, right. I remember that game... It was horrible but um, I’m Kira.” She rambled out quite shyly, whilst letting her red hair act as a veil; a shy habit she just could not seem to shake.
Glancing around the room, Kynton saw absolutely no one he knew and for the first time in a while he felt out of place. Running his hand back through his bleached blond hair, he took in a deep breath of the stifling mansion atmosphere and let out a slight sigh. On the other hand, he was glad to see that Kira found someone she knew there. Maybe the girl would help her come out of her shell a bit.
“I’m going to go get something to drink, do you want something?” He asked, leaning down to his little sister ear, so she would be able to hear him clearly.
Kira shook her head, her hair bouncing slightly. “No, I’m good. Thanks though.”
He nodded, “Alright, I’ll be back.” Glancing at Ivy, he smiled before walking off en rout for the refreshment table.
Kira watched him walk away before turning back to Ivy, still offering a shy smile. “So, do you not know anyone else here?”

"No, and that's the problem." Ivy frowned. "Have you ever even seen any of these people in your life? I haven't and I tend to sneak to all the other schools sometimes, there is no one here. Do you find that strange?"
Maybe they're just all super geniuses that are actually in college. Ivy smiled to her self.
Ivy noticed Kira's shyness and attempted to be less hyper. It scared away quite alot of people, and she wanted to make this friend. Then Ivy noticed another strange thing. There were speakers laced around the peaks of the room, and large ones in the corner, but there was no DJ. Heck, Ivy couldn't even see any equipment that could play music. Who was controling this whole thing?
Ivy was ripped from her thoughts however, when her eyes caught the front entrance. It was two other familiar people. She couldn't place them however. Probably just seen them around or something, they didn't go to her school. Hmmm... curiosity was killing her. Ivy's curiosity and conscience took up most of her mind. There was more than enough room for it since it always seems to be empty of common and logic sense.
"But hey, look over there!" Ivy smiled to Kira, "I know them... well I recognize them. Do they go to your school?"
