I understand your mind might be about to explode with ideas, but I'm sure you can keep it down for a few moments to read this.
Alright, so, before you begin filling the café with chatter about grand role play ideas, take a few minutes to read what I expect from everyone.
Begin With A Creative Title
Nothing attracts people more than a creative title. If the title is dull, but the plot is amazing, most people will skip past it. To me, I'm reminded of if you recieve a package that is rather torn and crumpled, would you be tempted to open it? Maybe, even with presents. If you find an ugly and poorly wrapped present under your tree, would you want to open it first? Anyway, creative titles will attract more people that regular old boring titles.
Interesting Plots
Nothing is better than a good RP, right? Creativity is the key to a great RP. Even if your RP involves something common, take Harry Potter RPs, for example. I've seen a lot of them without plots, and some excuses may be: "But, everyone knows about Harry Potter!" Okay, well, even if you're using the characters from the book, GIVE IT A LITTLE SPICE! Make things exciting! Throw in a few plot twists! Although, try not to over due it. I've found that length sometimes scares people away. People that are to lazy to read.
Pairings
Just three words: DON'T DO IT. I disapprove of pairings because it makes things so less interesting. Plot twists don't hurt, they make things more exciting. Add a few love triangles, it's interesting! It makes people want to continue the role play.
That's it for now, more can be added at any time.
